IS THE STRESS RELEASE CLASS FOR YOU?

YES if you're READY to:

  • Deepen Your Connection to Your Body
  • Safely Release Stress, trauma, tension, chronic pain, & fibromyalgia symptoms
  • Calm anxious thoughts & lift depressive feelings
  • Feel more love, pleasure, and happiness
  • Manifest the life you want!

In the Stress Release Class you'll learn the Non-Linear Movement Method® (NLMM) which combines a science backed somatic technique with the powerful energy of a 2000 year unbroken Kashmiri tantric lineage.

Life Changing Benefits of NLMM

Release chronic pain, tension, & fibromyalgia symptoms. NLMM educates the body how to release and process contractions, stress, and tension allowing pain patterns to disengage.

Calm anxious thoughts & lift depressive feelings. By putting emphasis on continuous movement you circumvent the analytical mind and unhook patterns of tense thinking, consistently feeling calmer and lighter.

Feel more love & create healthy relationships. As tension, contraction, and emotion are released, old negative relationship patterns also release, and you gain the ability to increase intimacy & pleasure with yourself and others.

Overcome self-doubt & increase your feeling of self-worth. As the body unwinds and the mind relaxes its pressured pace, the emotions associated with these patterns become apparent. You can allow painful emotions to simply rise and release.

Let go of trauma & baggage from the past. Body, mind and emotions get stuck in a state of frozen numbness. NLMM gently opens the freeze pattern and allows for recognition and release of the underlying bodily and emotional patterns.

Move forward & manifest the life you want! When trauma is released, you gain the ability to envision a happier life, embody higher energy frequencies, and open your receiving channels to attract positive people, situations, and things you want.

"I feel free for the first time since the assault... actually, I can't remember ever feeling this free in my body. I didn't think I could."

NLMM Reviews from Our Community

"I was in a totally timeless space and my body took complete charge and led me on a journey of deep relaxation and self discovery. I am normally a high energy person but during the session I was very calm, moving at a very slow pace, and just continued to move and enjoy the process of releasing. It was freeing to know that I had no agenda and that I was not in charge but just following my body’s lead.

Essential Workers LOVE NLMM!

"After 3 months of practicing 10-20 minutes per day, my chiropractor told me I had nothing to adjust! 25 years of aches and pains - GONE!"

~ S.E., Retired Police Officer, Boston, MA member since 2018

This movement class was much more than I expected. My career can be stressful at times but I had no idea how badly I needed the time to just release my emotions. Elizabeth guided us on a beautiful journey using music, movement, and meditation. By the end I felt so refreshed and I can still feel the effects of the breakthroughs I had that day. I’d definitely recommend this class for EVERYONE.

~ L.H., School Teacher, Pittsburgh, PA

"I just practiced for 20 mins and discovered that pleasure is the hardest thing for me to connect with, which says a lot! Then I started to shake and had a great release. Moved so much abundance energy through me during the manifestation part - it was amazing! I feel so relaxed and energized now. My body and soul needed this so much!"

FAQ - Stress Release Class

Featuring the Non-Linear Movement Method®

Can I practice with a physical injury?

Get cleared by your doctor for physical activity. NLMM is never forcing movement. It's a gentle practice. You can lie on your back or sit and just move the parts of your body that are SAFE to move.

Should I stay on my hands and knees?

If you can comfortably be on your hands and knees at the beginning of your practice, it’s best to start this way so that your spine is totally free to move. You are free to move however your body needs to move, so change positions as your body wants. You can even stand, just remember to keep your body SAFE.

Do I have to keep my eyes closed?

Eyes remain closed to keep your focus internal and not get distracted. If your eyes flutter open, simply close them again. Sometimes your eyes may open if you feel unsafe. If that’s the case then allow your eyes to look around the room to confirm you are safe and gently close them again. Practice feeling and moving as safety.

What do I do when I feel frustrated and want to quit?

It’s very common to feel frustrated and want to quit, that feeling is you processing through the “flight” stress response. You may go through, flight, fight, freeze, or faint, at any time during your practice. These show up as wanting to quit, run away, feeling frozen or too tired to move, or feeling frustrated/angry/depressed/scared/numb. Just keep MOVING AS ANY OF THOSE FEELINGS. You can even move as a thought.

What if I start shaking?

No need to feel concerned if your body starts spontaneously shaking. Shaking signifies a trauma/stress release. Allow your body to shake until it naturally wants to stop and continue moving. You may experience tears or giggles during or after shaking. Keep moving until you process through and feel a sense of relief.

What do I do if I feel dizziness or nausea?

Dizziness or nausea are rare but can happen for 2 completely different reasons.

1) The most common reason is that you are releasing some trauma or uncomfortable emotions. If you drop into the sensations and keep moving as the feeling, most often you’ll soon move through it and feel better.

2) You may have BPPV - benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. The two most common ways to treat this are the Epley Maneuver and the ½ Summersault technique, find out more on Youtube.

How long should I practice?

Dr. Michael a Boehm, who codified the Non-Linear Movement Method, suggests moving for at least 25 mins. When I started, I practiced for a minimum of 30-60 mins per day. That said, doing 5 minutes is more beneficial than skipping your practice. Allowing your body to move as it needs to move is extremely therapeutic. Doing this practice builds healthy new neural pathways to positive thoughts and feelings which results in positive actions, experiences, and relationships.

Do I always have to do all 4 phases?

When you are new to your practice, it is best to do all 4 phases as you want your system to be able to fully process through to resolution. As you become more seasoned, you do not always have to do all 4 phases. Always start with phase 1, Moving What You’re Feeling, to get you somatically tuned in.

How long does it take to see results?

NLMM gives both immediate and long term results. The more regularly you practice, the more you will see positive changes. I noticed that my lifetime of chronic neck and shoulder pain was completely gone at about the 8 week mark. Since this is a highly individual practice that gets deeper and more interesting the longer you do it, you will notice positive results for years to come. It is the practice that keeps on giving!

Can I use any type of music to practice on my own?

Use a variety of different genres of instrumental (no lyrics) music of varying tempos (fast, slow, medium beats) that you're not emotionally tied to. Be sure to have some drum based grounded music mixed into your NLMM playlist. Hit shuffle (crossed arrows) so you never know which song will play next. At the bottom of the page are screen shots of my playlist to get you started. You can also practice in silence.

Can I practice with someone else?

Sure! AFTER you’ve both taken enough classes to understand what you’re doing, feel free to practice with friends - but do not lead or teach your friends unless you get certified first. As a certified teacher, there is so much more to holding and leading a class than you could fathom and you have to be at a certain level of embodiment and skill to do it well. Trying to teach without proper training leads to everyone having a disappointing experience and can make NLMM seem ineffectual. Plus, you don’t want to open up a can of worms you aren’t qualified to deal with. If you’re interested in becoming certified to teach NLMM, click HERE
